HOW WE ADVERTISE

We advertise extensively through social media, local networking and posters. We want customers to hear about our talented crafters and get to know what inspires them as well as showcase their work. We encourage stallholders to promote the show on their own pages and in their own networks, also by flyer distribution to friends and families. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram ‘Towcester Handmade Fayre’.

THE VENUE

The show is held at Towcester Town Hall, 86 Watling Street, Towcester, NN12 6BS usually on the first Saturday of each month. Opening hours are from 09:30 till 16:00. There is space for up to 25 stalls. Some might choose to use the show as a regular booking, so their customers can get to see them frequently and build a relationship. It is a bit like having a monthly shop. Our show is not just about selling but also networking with fellow artisans.

TYPES OF CRAFTS

Products for sale MUST be HANDMADE by the stallholder. Our aim is to maintain a good balance and wide variety of stalls. If there are already stalls selling the same type of product for a show, we may not accept any further bookings. It is also why we insist on no mixed stands. Please be clear on your application about the description of the type of products you want to sell. Towcester Handmade Fayre reserves the right to have the final decision.

STALLS

5ft and 6ft tables are supplied, however, the number of 6ft tables is limited with 8 being available. You are very welcome to bring your own 6ft table if you prefer. It is possible for stallholders to book 2 tables and therefore occupy a 10ft or 12ft space. Two tables is the maximum per stallholder. Chairs are included with the price of the stall. Electricity is included but must be requested on your booking form.

Tables to be covered to the floor on the front and sides. All transportation containers and packaging must be out of sight or neatly stacked behind and under tables by 09:30am when the doors are opened to the public. This helps to maintain a smart professional image.

PRICING

From March 2024 to July 2024 (low season) a 5ft stall will be £20, a 6ft stall will be £25

From September 2024 to December 2024 (peak season) a 5ft stall will be £25, a 6ft stall will be £30.

Stallholders who support the show on a regular basis (4 shows or more from March to July) will be able to enjoy the same low season stall rate during September to December when rates otherwise increase.

Payment must be made in full at least one month prior to the date of the show you are attending. Bookings can be made for any or all of the shows in advance and paid by BACS (details in the Application Form), cash or cheque. Receipts will be given for all payments received.

ACCESSIBILITY

Towcester Town Hall is centrally located, and all facilities located on the ground floor. Access is via the main entrance as well as a disabled access to the side of the hall. If you or your products are affected by extremes of temperature, please bear this in mind. Stallholders can park in front of the hall to unload and then move their cars to a free car park some 50 yards down the road or any of the side roads for taller vehicles over 1.9mtrs. Set up is from 8.15am to be ready for trading from 9:30am.
